A couple of showers will arrive in western and central Washington state on today, while sunshine prevails from California into Nevada and southern Oregon. Highs today ranging from the 70s along the Southern California coast to the 100s in southeastern California. Farther north, expect 50s along the Washington coast to the 70s inland. A storm system coming ashore in the Pacific Northwest will spread rain over the northern Washington coast tonight , and clouds will extend into Oregon and Idaho. Elsewhere, high pressure will provide clear to partly cloudy skies over California and Nevada. Lows in the upper 40s in the higher mountains of Washington and Oregon to 70s in Southern California.
