Southwest Report
Clouds will cover much of Texas, southern Oklahoma and southeastern New Mexico today along with a shower or thunderstorm in spots. Farther west, Arizona will get a good deal of sunshine along with a warm afternoon. Highs will range from the upper 60s in the mountains of northern New Mexico and Arizona to the 100s in southern Arizona, with 70s and 80s into Texas. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in south Texas tonight along a stationary front. It will be mainly clear over western Texas and Oklahoma and back into New Mexico and Arizona. It will be breezy over the southern Plains. Lows will range from the upper 30s in the mountains of northern New Mexico to near 70 in south Texas.
