On their first date, Lorena Strallnikoff and Gil Dezer had dinner at a Miami restaurant.
Nice enough.
For their second date, Gil brought his A-game.
"He was in Las Vegas on a business trip," Lorena said. "He called and asked me to join him the next day."
But Lorena wasn't sure she could arrange everything quickly enough to get there the next day.
"He had a private jet waiting for me at 6 o'clock the next morning," she said. "I was having lunch with him in Vegas by noon."
The couple, who were introduced by mutual friends, clicked faster than the stoppers on a Vegas roulette wheel.
On Dec. 8, they were married.
The ceremony and reception took place at The Mar-a-Lago Club, where they "know the boss."
Gil, a graduate of the University of Miami, is a developer of Trump projects in Miami and Atlanta. His father, Michael Dezer, is the founder of Dezer Properties redevelopers of Sunny Isles.
The Argentina-born bride, a graduate of the Miami International University's College of Art & Design, is the daughter of Rosa and Carlos Strallnikoff.
The ceremony took place on the lakefront lawn. Post-ceremony, there was a poolside cocktail reception followed by a dinner dance in the Grand Ballroom.
The couple is living in Sunny Isles Beach, where, she said, her life is "a wild and romantic ride."
