The marriage of Laura Bates Roy to Charles A. Kibort III took place Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
The Rev. Kevin Martin, a friend of the bride's family, performed the ceremony at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church overlooking the harbor.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Roy of West Palm Beach and Bailey Island, Maine. Her father is president of Steel Service in Lewiston, Maine.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Kibort Jr. of Palm Beach and Kennebunk, Maine.
His parents are antique and decorative arts dealers in Greenwich, Conn., and New York, where they operated Suttonbridge, an interior design and antiques business.
Sarah Roy of Madrid, Spain, was maid of honor for her sister.
Charles A. Kibort Jr. served as best man for his son.
After a reception at The Newagen on Southport Island, Maine, the couple left on a wedding trip to Bermuda.
They are living in Scarborough, Maine.
