Mary McClinton Wardwell of North Palm Beach died Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.
Mrs. Wardwell worked for the Palm Beach County School District for 20 years, serving as a teacher, career coordinator and assistant director of transportation. Her husband, the late David P. Wardwell, was a vice president and financial adviser at Merrill Lynch in Palm Beach.
She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Karin Robbins, and husband Dr. Donald H. Robbins, of Laramie, Wyo.; a brother, Ronnie Adams, and wife Sara of Selma, Ala.; and three sisters, Shirley Pierce, Loretta Adams and Barbara Adams and husband Jim, all of Selma. She also is survived by a cousin, Mary-Anne Farrar and husband Jamison Farrar of Montgomery, Ala.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. July 24 at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel, 717 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach. A family service for the interment of Mrs. Wardwell was held July 16 in Selma.
