Robert Schneiderman, formerly of Palm Beach, died Monday, May 19, 2008, at Chatsworth in Palm Beach Gardens after a brief illness. He was 93.
A native of New York, Mr. Schneiderman attended New York University and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Schneiderman had a long career in the apparel industry, including as an executive at Gino Paoli, where he was in charge of the children's division; at Ann Klein, where he launched its menswear line; and at Izod Lacoste, where he headed its division for girlswear.
Mr. Schneiderman and his late wife, Mary, were married for 63 years and lived in Palm Beach for more than 20 years. After her death in 2003, he moved to CityPlace in West Palm Beach.
He is survived by two sons, Stuart Schneiderman of New York City and David Schneiderman and wife Dana of Seattle; and one granddaughter, Katherine Schneiderman of New Orleans.
