Greenleaf & Crosby's Paul Brooks Henry dies

Paul Brooks Henry of Palm Beach died Monday, June 16, 2008 after a short illness. He was 75.

Mr. Henry also was a resident of Muskoka, Ontario, Canada.

A jeweler, he graduated with awards in jewelry design from Ryerson Tech University. In 1976, he purchased Greenleaf & Crosby jewelers; he ran its single location in Palm Beach for more than 30 years.

He was recognized by presidents Reagan and Bush for his work with the board of directors in developing the Broward County Boys Club.

He was a Rotarian and a member of The Society of the Four Arts.

Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Courtaline Henry.

He is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Henry of West Palm Beach; a son, Christopher, and his wife, Irma, and their children, Cameron, Connor and Cole of Dallas; his caretaker, Lula Tyskiewcz; and best friend, Denise Gentry.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 1201 S. Olive Ave., West Palm Beach. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, 144 N. County Road.
