Locals Laud, Jab Shiny Sheet

Last week I asked two of our video-savvy reporters — Robert Janjigian and Margie Kacoha — if they’d interview some high-profile residents and business folk for a 2-minute video.

The idea was to capture a range of comments about the Shiny Sheet and its role in the community. Within a couple of days, they rounded up the fun collection of folks and opinions you see in this video, which had its “premiere” at today’s Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting. (The Daily News was the meeting sponsor.)

Our thanks to the following good sports: Sherry Frankel, Melangerie owner; Nancy and Bill Rollnick, chairs of the International Red Cross Ball; Ervin Duggan, The Society of Four Arts president; gallery owner John Surovek; Saks Fifth Avenue GM Lori Berg; GenNext volunteer Talbott Maxey; Donald Trump’s major domo Tony Senecal; FoundCare CEO Yolette Bonnet; menswear purveyor John Maus; former mayor Lesly Smith; dog-lover and former Palm Beach councilman Bill Brooks; Club Colette owner Dan Ponton; Caron Renaissance Gala chair Petra Levin; and actor George Hamilton.
